FAQs.

What does FOURLY PRINT do?

FOURLY PRINT is a bespoke print production company offering digital, offset litho and large format printing. We work with brands, agencies, organisations, schools and charities across the UK on brochures, catalogues, books, magazines, directories and event materials - managing each project from paper specification through to delivery.

Where is FOURLY PRINT based and do you work outside Kent?

We're based in Kings Hill, Kent but we work with clients across the whole of the UK. Many of our long-standing clients are outside Kent - we manage these projects with the same level of communication and quality control as we do locally.

What's the difference between digital and offset litho printing and which do I need?

Digital printing suits shorter runs (typically under 500 copies), personalised or variable content and fast turnarounds with little or no setup costs. Offset litho is generally better for longer runs (500+), where colour consistency and a wider range of premium stocks and finishes matter most. We'll advise on which process suits your quantity, budget and quality requirements during the briefing stage.

What finishing options do you offer?

We offer a full range of finishing techniques including soft-touch laminate, matt laminate, gloss laminate, spot UV, foiling (gold, silver, coloured, holographic and more), embossing, debossing, sewn binding for books and brochures. The right finish depends on your brand, audience and budget. We'll always advise honestly on what's worth the investment.

Do you offer sustainable or eco-friendly print options?

Yes. We offer FSC-certified stocks, recycled paper options and can advise on print-on-demand approaches that reduce overruns and waste. If sustainability matters to your organisation, we'll factor that into our recommendations from the outset.

What sectors do you specialise in?

We have particular experience with home interest and kitchen brands (catalogues, trade directories), marketing agencies (trade print partnerships), property and estate agencies (brochures, developer marketing), beauty and skincare (packaging, promotional material), independent schools (prospectuses, open day materials), charities and NGOs (annual reports, donor communications) and membership organisations (journals, magazines, directories).

How do I get a quote from FOURLY PRINT?

Get in touch via hello@fourlyprint.uk, call +44 (0)1732 897 977 or contact Richard Shaw or Joe Dale directly. We start with a proper briefing conversation to understand your project, audience and budget before recommending the right process, stock and finish, then provide a clear, itemised quote with no hidden costs.

What's your typical turnaround time?

Turnaround depends on the print process, quantity and finishing involved - digital print generally allows for faster turnarounds, while offset litho and specialist finishes need more lead time. We always give realistic timelines upfront rather than overly optimistic ones and we recommend involving us early in your planning, particularly for time-sensitive projects like events or open days.

Can you handle high-profile or time-critical print jobs?

Yes - we've produced collateral for corporate events, investor meetings and trade shows where deadlines were fixed and the stakes were high, including for organisations such as SoftBank and Gallery Direct. We understand confidentiality requirements and the need for absolute reliability on these jobs.
